Once again, let me start out with the link to the podcast page in case anyone wants to listen to the podcast or watch the video in my substack page.
Thank you for joining me here this week. I hope you liked what I have to say. Please share this with your friends and relations as this is how governments get toppled. By the people standing up to the dictators and taking their government back from them.
Now that we have that out of the way, let's talk about what's going on across the U.S. and abroad. As we know, Trump's now, private Army, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, commonly known as ICE, has been running around the country snatching people for deportation without due process and people are starting to wake up to the fact that they may be coming for any of us if they don't like what we have to say publicly.
For instance, if we publicly support the Palestinians, Hamas, Hezbollah, The Houthis, or criticise Israel or Trump in any way, no matter how small or large.
Trump has blatantly defied the courts in public last Monday so Judges are now setting up criminal contempt orders. This is very important to all Americans as this could set up an authoritarian government if the judges and justices can't find a way to corral this obvious defiance of their rulings.
In other news, I found more stories about international workers having their work visas revoked for no reason lately, causing a lot of distress and potential law suits. Mexico giving in the the U.S. regarding that old water treaty from 1941 that states that the U.S. and Mexico have a water sharing agreement. With the southwest part of the continent in a long, severe drought, this will hurt Americans in the long run if the farmers in northern Mexico are run out of business due to lack of water. A lot of American fresh produce, especially in the winter months, comes from northern Mexico.
The U.S. is trying to pressure Panama into allowing U.S. military assets into Panama for mutual security. Panama is still saying no. I hope they can hold out as the last thing anyone in Latin America needs is U.S. troops in their countries right now. That would only spell trouble for their governments.
In the podcast I talk a lot about how the U.S. military is a hollowed out military these days. The navy especially. They don't have the ships they used to, and what they do have is barely seaworthy anymore. They can't compete with China, yet, they continue to try and threaten everyone with a sense of superiority. It's all a sham.
The United States is in deep trouble and they know it. Of course, they won't admit it to anyone. Instead, they want to bully the world into thinking they're more than they are. The gold paint is starting to flake off now as other countries are pulling away more and more.
One of the biggest points I make, and a report on MSNBC last night corroborates this, tourism and visits in general by international visitors has dropped dramatically in just the last month and this will only get worse. International student enrolments will drop dramatically by the fall semester.
It is only going to get worse in the days and weeks ahead as the world lurches towards a global recession, and likely a depression in the U.S., in the coming months.
Americans are starting to stand up in town hall meetings and Senator Bernie Sanders, Take back the U.S. from the Oligarchs tour. So there might be some light ahead. Only time will tell.
The biggest thing to watch out for in the days and weeks going forward, is the Trump defiance of the courts. What he does will chart the future course of the United States and its people. Things have already changed so much that there is no going back. Now, it's up to the people to determine the future. Will it be a new government under an authoritarian leader, or will there be a reset of democracy to prevent someone like Trump from taking power again someday? That is the question on a lot of people's minds at these town hall meetings. Where do the Americans go from here?

This is the only way this works. By community activism and joining together to force the politicians to the will of the people. That's how the United States got its start and it will be how they force a reset that is sorely needed now. Sláinte
