As always, I will start off with the link to the podcast page in case anyone wants to listen or jump to my Substack page to watch the video. Although I may be changing that a little in the next week. According to YouTube, I'm not getting enough attention paid to my video channel and their censoring me a little. I've been thinking this week that I may redo my podcast page and change the link back to my YouTube page instead of Substack.
As I mentioned on the front page, this week's podcast is all about global migrations, why their happening, with some news stories woven into the written article on Substack and Medium.com

I start off with a little history and lead off with what's been going on in Europe. Almost everybody in the world has heard stories in the last thirty years of all the troubles with African and middle eastern refugees escaping the poverty caused by the wars and global warming. Everything from riots and protests to the, alleged sinking of migrant boats from north Africa. We've heard stories of the refugees being abused in Libya and Algeria, and other atrocities.
Mostly, I use Ireland as a reference example of what's going on in Europe once these refugees actually make it ashore somewhere. In Ireland, they are starting to have violent protests against immigrants taking over villages and social services. The biggest ones being the severe lack of housing and the degradation of the public health care systems.
In the podcast, I mention other European countries also struggling with refugees arriving by any means possible in order to take advantage of the social safety nets in the EU. There are now so many migrants in Europe, that nearly every member state in the EU is struggling with this overflow of undocumented migrants who can't work because they can't get work permits in a timely fashion. Which forces the governments to step in and provide food and shelter for them until they get sorted.
Which is making the indigenous populations angry as their needs aren't being met anymore.
In north America, they have a problem also but they've decided to go in a different direction under Donald Trump. They've enhanced their militarised immigration police into a modern version of the Nazi Gestapo from WWII. People of all citizenship statuses are being rounded up, including native born citizens, if they are of Latino origin or any other dark skinned ethnicity.
Regular citizens in the U.S. are getting angry and a few are starting to push back. I tell people that this is only the beginning. I expect more violence soon between citizens and the ICE agents who are out snatching people off the streets without identifying themselves in any way and wearing masks.
If you're reading this, now would be a good time to go listen to or watch the video to learn more. After the break in the video and audio podcast, I read chapter 37 from The Priest by Michael Campi.

You can leave a short comment there as well. For anything like a regular email, use the contact page using the menu bar above.
If anyone has had any trouble accessing this website in the last few days, this has now been corrected. I had some trouble with my website provider in Italy over some service expiration's that have now been taken care of. I hope anyway. Take care and I'll be back soon.
