Tribalism and a One Party State

Now that we have that out of the way, let's talk about this week's podcast a little bit without giving it all away, I do want you to give it a listen, whether it's here or on your mobile as you're be bopping through your day.

I have been on a tear for several years about human tribalism, having written a handful of articles about it since 2022. It upsets me to a degree as I would have thought that mankind would grow out of it by now, but ohhhh no, we're not even close.

This week. I drill down on the Americans a lot, the Israelis to a lesser degree, and I devote a paragraph to the U.K. because of their latest race riots.

Donald Trump is coming right out and saying the "D" word out loud in the last few days. "Dictator". He laughs about it, saying he's not a dictator and I agree, with a caveat. He is behaving like a mob boss and not like your traditional dictator, such as Viktor Orban, and Vladimir Putin.

In this week's episode, I come out and use all of those words you're not supposed to use on public media, such as Hamas, genocide, ethnic cleansing and so on. Trump is trashing the economy out of sheer stupidity, and ego. He truly wants to be the ultimate authority for all things United States. From deploying troops unconstitutionally, to shaking down corporations for financial stakes, to threatening people, warrantless arrests and so on. And he isn't a dictator. And I'm an all American redneck.

Israel is another matter. They're going all out now to ethnically cleanse northern Gaza, despite all of the backlash about deliberately starving the Palestinians. Yet, the people there are fed up with all of that and want the current government gone. I work the tribalism angle because of all the settlers there, who want the Palestinians gone so they can take the land. What happens if the government changes to a more moderate one that pulls the IDF back and tells the settlers no? Chaos is what. Israel will break apart in a bunch of warring factions.

Much like the U.S. will end up doing if they collapse. The U.S. is very close to collapsing now. When the recession hits hard next year, that may spell the end of the U.S. in it's current form. The economy crashing will bring on the protesters,  which will bring on the national guard, which will bring on clashes, which will bring on martial law, and that's when it will all end. The end of the American experiment.
