Updates to the website

As some of you may know, I have been on a cyber security kick this year and the updates I did today are a part of that. Recently I found out that PayPal was doing some shady things with people's personal data with regard to sharing with governments. So, when I checked into it a little bit, I decided to eliminate all references to PayPal in this website. I want everyone to be safe from the U.S. government.

To that end, I switched everything over to Stripe. I already had an account set there (three actually), so I tinkered with some links and made some adjustments to the Stripe account that I have linked to this website in order for people to fell a little safer. I hope anyway.

So from now on, if anyone feels like donating to my efforts through the donations page here, or decides to buy a book from the book store, the payment system is run through Stripe, and only Stripe from now on.

Stripe will convert whatever currency you wish to use into U.S. Dollars automatically and my book store automatically handles the U.S. sales taxes and the VAT taxes for whatever country you live in if you want to buy a book.

Stripe is a trusted Irish-American financial platform used by lots of world-wide entities so I don't anticipate any troubles. More than I can say for PayPal in these days of American corporate buyouts and capitulations to the Trump government.

If anyone reading this has any trouble with anything, please reach out and let me know and I will endeavour to correct it straightaway.

I tweaked a couple other pages as well, just because it's in my nature to nitpick things. There will be a lot more changes as I mentioned before after Samhain, so stay tuned.
