It's Saturday and I'm working hard to get back to some sense of normalcy after this week's visit of children and grandchildren. As much as we love them we seem to be glad when they decide it's time to return home. Come in and read my thoughts once again as I talk about more home repairs on the near horizon and the cost.

I'm remiss with writing to this blog of late due to other life things getting in my way but I've finally managed to carve out some time this Saturday to sit down long enough to talk about what's on my mind once again. So, come inside and join me for a cuppa coffee or tea or whatever and let's see what I've been up to in the last week.

Spring is sort of here right now but I am hearing that this may be short lived as another "polar vortex" is coming next week. I told my wife, the avid gardner, that she can take off the frost covers for now but be prepared to put them back on next week.
In other news, the world is on fire, as everyone knows by now. I'm going to make this short as I have a lot of honeydo projects to take care today and this weekend. Come in and read more about what's on my mind this week.
