Oiche Shamná or in English, Happy Hallowe'en
This will be my last blog post of the year as today is Samhain eve, the night when the druids light the tine chnámh' and the people clean out their hearths to make ready for the new year starting tomorrow in the Roman calendar. We listen to the druids give thanks to the nature spirits, the gods and our ancestors, as we pass through the smoke of the sacred fires to bless us in the new year to come.
